An exciting game was played in Satu Mare. Sf.Gheorghe faced Satu Mare. Guests from Sfantu Gheorghe (4-0) smashed host Satu Mare (2-2) 93-56. The game without a history. Sf.Gheorghe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Satu Mare's 28. They outrebounded Satu Mare 41-30 including 35 on the defensive glass. Sf.Gheorghe looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Tyaunna Marshall (175-92, college: Georgia Tech) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Australian power forward Carley Mijovic (196-94) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Sf.Gheorghe players scored in double figures. Sf.Gheorghe's coach Zoran Mikes felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international swingman Andreea Olah (181-86) responded with 17 points and American guard Taneisha Harrison (182-89, college: Pittsburgh) scored 15 points.
