There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Osnabruecker (8-12) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Braunschweig (8-12) 66-59. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Ariel Hearn (171-94, college: Memphis) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Morgana Soehn (182-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. American guard N'Dea Bryant (183-94, college: N.Carolina) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Annemarie Potratz (163-97) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Osnabruecker. Osnabruecker's coach tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Braunschweig moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with Osnabruecker TB. Osnabruecker lost third consecutive game.
