Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked B.Loewen and 10th ranked Recklinghausen had identical 4-15 record. But Recklinghausen was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Loewen 77-57. B.Loewen dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Recklinghausen's 34. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Deeshyra Thomas (168-95, college: Weber St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 assists. The other American import center Mackenzie Morrison (195, college: William & Mary) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four B.Loewen players scored in double figures. B.Loewen's coach Jean-Francois Loop allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Kiki Robertson (170, college: Alaska-Anch.) replied with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Britta Worms (188-88) added 19 points in the effort for Recklinghausen. B.Loewen (5-15) moved-up to tenth place in North. Recklinghausen lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh position with 16 games lost.
