Very expected game when 12th ranked Edirne (10-15) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Edremit (17-9) 81-68 on Wednesday. Edremit outrebounded Edirne 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a great evening for American center Kara Braxton (198-83, college: Georgia) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Pelin Kuccuk (172-90) helped adding 21 points. The best for the losing side was American center Molly Schlemer (196-92, college: Cal Poly - SLO) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Yagmur Bul (164-96) scored 12 points and 4 steals.
