An interesting game for Montana 2003 (6-1) which hosted in Montana 4th placed Rilski Sportist (0-6). First ranked Montana 2003 had an easy win 98-65. Montana 2003 had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 39 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Rilski Sportist's players. It was a great evening for swingman Debora Filipova (173-97) who led her team to a victory scoring 26 points. The former international forward Maria Zhelyazkova (182-86, agency: Promotex) helped adding 13 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Montana 2003 players scored in double figures. Montana 2003's coach Stefan Mihaylov felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Radina Zhivachka (164-0) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Claudia Penkova (160-98) scored 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Montana 2003 have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Newly promoted Rilski Sportist still closes the standings with six games lost. Montana 2003 will play against Slavia (#3) in Sofia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rilski Sportist will play on the road against the league's second-placed Beroe in Stara Zagora and hopes to get finally their first victory.
