Important game to mention about took place in Barreiro. Terceira (7-13) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging Barreirense (3-20) 75-74 in the fight for the tenth place. Terceira outrebounded Barreirense 42-22 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds for the winners and point guard Isaiah Johnson (183-93, college: Young Harris) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
