The game between Top Four teams took place in Stara Zagora. Second ranked host Beroe (6-1) smashed 4th ranked Rilski Sportist (0-7) 91-55. The game was mostly controlled by Beroe. Rilski Sportist was better in fourth quarter 17-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Beroe forced 31 Rilski Sportist turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Rilski Sportist's players. The winners were led by Italian center Alexandra Petrova (190-98) who scored that evening 16 points and international forward Gabriela Nikolova (183-97) supported her with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Beroe players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 5 assists by point guard Claudia Penkova (160-98) did not help to save the game for Rilski Sportist. Point guard Nikol Nikolova (165-98) added 4 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Beroe keeps a position of Places 1-4 leader, which they share with Montana. Newly promoted Rilski Sportist still closes the standings with seven games lost. Beroe will play against Slavia (#3) in Sofia in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rilski Sportist will play at home against the league's leader Montana 2003 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
