Not a big story in a game in Berlin where 11th ranked ALBA-2 (6-16) was rolled over by fourth ranked Vechta-2 (14-8) 82-56 on Saturday. Vechta-2 forced 19 ALBA-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Croatian center Neven Zeravica (205-88, college: W.Virg.Wesl.) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Nat-Sidi Diallo (205-0) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Point guard Badu Buck (196-99) responded with 10 points and 4 assists and forward Hendrik Drescher (206-0) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. ALBA-2's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Vechta-2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Aschersleben. Loser ALBA-2 keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Vechta-2 will face Weser Bsk/BTS (#12) in Neustadt in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ALBA-2 will play on the road against WSG Koenigs in Wildau and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
