There was an upset when higher ranked Schwabing (9-14) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Rosenheim (7-16) 95-83 on Saturday. Rosenheim shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. French forward Evans Ganapamo (201-94, college: Prairie View A&M) scored 32 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Jguwon Hogges (173-86, college: Oregon Tech) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Guard Joshua Obiesie (197) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and William Bessoir (203-99) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Five Rosenheim and four Schwabing players scored in double figures. Schwabing's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Rosenheim moved-up to eleventh place in South-East, which they share with Jena II. Schwabing lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 14 games lost. Rosenheim will face higher ranked Topstar (#9) in Diedorf in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
