Regular Season Round 26: Koblenz - Crailsheim II 105-79

Very expected game when 12th ranked Crailsheim II (8-16) was crushed on the road by third ranked Koblenz (20-5) 105-79 on Saturday. Koblenz shot 61.9 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Koblenz looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Crailsheim II's players. British power forward Shore Adenekan (205-92, college: Seattle) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian point guard Zeljko Novak (184-89) chipped in 22 points during the contest. American forward Eric Ross (201-94, college: Shorter) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Harald Debelka (191-91) scored 17 points. Four Koblenz and five Crailsheim II players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koblenz have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in South-West with 20-5 record having just one point less than leader Muenster. Newly promoted Crailsheim II dropped to the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Koblenz will face league's leader BV Villingen-Schwenningen at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Crailsheim II will play against Stuttgart (#6) and hope to win that game.
