Very expected game when 9th ranked Spartak Pleven (1-18) was crushed at home by third ranked Levski Lukoil (14-8) 104-80 on Saturday. The game without a history. Levski Lukoil led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Pleven's 24. They outrebounded Spartak Pleven 45-21 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Levski Lukoil looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Five Levski Lukoil players scored in double figures. Coach Konstantin Papazov's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Konstantin Koev (196-91) who recorded 26 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Nikolay Marinov (174-94) added 16 points respectively. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Levski Lukoil. They moved-up to second place. Spartak Pleven lost their fifth game in a row. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Levski Lukoil will meet at home Beroe (#5) in the next round. Spartak Pleven will play against Rilski (#4) and hope to win that game.
