Regular Season Round 26: Telekom Bsk - Fraport SKY 75-79

Date: March 25, 2018
There was a small surprise in Bonn where eighth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (15-11) defeated 6th ranked Telekom Baskets (16-9) 79-75. Canadian-British guard Philip Scrubb (191-92) notched 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and center Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann (208-90) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. Even 15 points by naturalized American guard TJ DiLeo (190-90, college: Temple) did not help to save the game for Telekom Baskets. American power forward Julian Gamble (208-89, college: Miami, FL) added 7 points and 6 assists for the hosts. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to seventh place. Telekom Baskets at the other side keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners' next round opponent will be Mitteldeutscher BC (#14) in Weissenfels and are hoping to win another game.
