Very expected game when 6th ranked Mersin BSB (13-9) was defeated on the road by second ranked Hatay (19-3) 87-76. Hatay players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Kazakhstan-Belarusian forward Katerina Snytsina (188-85) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds. Belgian point guard Hind Ben-Abdelkader (172-95, college: California) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American center Krystal Thomas (195-89, college: Duke) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Bria Hartley (173-92, college: Connecticut) added 13 points and 6 assists in the effort for Mersin BSB. Four Hatay and five Mersin BSB players scored in double figures. Hatay have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 19-3 record having just nine point less than leader Cukurova. Mersin BSB at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost.
