Second Stage Round 4: Celje - Sezana 64-82

Sezana has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Celje, where they defeated Celje (0-4) 82-64. The game without a history. Sezana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Celje turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Celje helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for guard Dejan Milasinovic (182-89) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Forward Luka Grum (194-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Tim Tomazic (194-99) replied with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Ilija Zolotic (207-86) added 22 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Celje. Celje's coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Sezana maintains twelfth position in Nova KBM with 1-2 record. Celje at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Sezana's next round opponent will be higher ranked Terme Olimia (#11) in Podcetrtek and it may be quite challenging game. Celje will play on the road against LTH Castings in Skofja Loka and hopes to get finally their first victory.
