The game between closely ranked teams ended with Craiova's (13-11) road victory over CS Dinamo Bucuresti (1-23) 99-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Craiova. CS Dinamo Bucuresti managed to win fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Craiova dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to CS Dinamo Bucuresti's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (198-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) stepped up and scored 29 points for the winners and Estonian Martin Paasoja (191-93) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Five Craiova players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Andrei Iliescu (186-97) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and international Amedeo Casale (194-97) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Craiova will meet at home Politehnica Iasi (#11) in the next round. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will have a break next round.
