Second Stage Round 4: Triglav - Plama Pur 98-78

Fifth ranked Triglav (7-3) crushed at home 7th ranked Plama Pur (4-6) by 20 points 98-78, which is the biggest margin this round on Thursday night. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-78. Triglav dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Plama Pur's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Aleksander Vojicic (192-87) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and the former international forward Zeljko Zagorac (204-81) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Triglav players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Robi Hrescak (203-92) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Kristjan Derencin (-1) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Triglav have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-3 record, which they share with Medvode. Loser Plama Pur keeps the seventh place with six games lost. Triglav will face Parklji (#8) in Bezigrad in the next round. Plama Pur will play at home against Portoroz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
