Regular Season Round 29: Zolotoi Vek - Dnipro-2 103-81

Very expected game in Kirovograd where 7th ranked Dnipro-2 (8-19) was crushed by second ranked Zolotoi Vek (20-7) 103-81. Dnipro-2 was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Zolotoi Vek shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Dnipro-2's players. Center Maksym Kozlovets (204-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Bogdan Sosoi (181-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 16 assists for the winners. Ihor Dubonenko (197-98) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and guard Stanislav Masalskiy (190-95) added 11 points and 8 assists in the effort for Dnipro-2. Five Zolotoi Vek and four Dnipro-2 players scored in double figures. Dnipro-2's coach Dmytro Markov gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Zolotoi Vek maintains second place with 20-7 record having just two points less than leader Dinamo. Dnipro-2 at the other side keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost. Zolotoi Vek's next round opponent will be again Dnipro-2 (#7) at home which should be theoretically another easy game.
