There was no surprise when 9th ranked Spartak Pleven (1-19) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Rilski (14-6) 94-86. Spartak Pleven was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 29-18 third quarter run of Rilski. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Pleven's 36.
