An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Samokov. First ranked Montana 2003 faced 4th placed Rilski Sportist. Guests from Montana (8-1) defeated host Rilski Sportist (0-9) 94-76. The game was mostly controlled by Montana 2003. Rilski Sportist managed to win fourth quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montana 2003 looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Rilski Sportist's players. International Radostina Dimitrova (181-94) fired 16 points and 7 assists for the winners. International forward Hristina Ivanova (183-89) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Montana 2003 players scored in double figures. Point guard Claudia Penkova (160-98) produced 18 points and 4 assists and center Ivana Nikolova (182-1) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montana 2003 have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Newly promoted Rilski Sportist still closes the standings with nine games lost. Montana 2003 are looking forward to face league's second-placed Beroe in Stara Zagora in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rilski Sportist will play again on the road against the league's leader Montana 2003 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
