The game in Zemun was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Tamis (15-10) played at the court of 8th ranked Mladost ZE (12-13). Tamis managed to secure a 7-point victory 78-71 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-15. But Mladost ZE won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tamis made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. Forward Ivan Smiljanic (199-89) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Mladost ZE's coach Branko Maksimovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tamis have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Metalac and Zlatibor. Loser Mladost ZE keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. Tamis will meet at home higher ranked Vrsac (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mladost ZE will play against Beovuk 72 (#11) in Beograd and hope to secure a win.
