Regular Season Round 30: Selcuklu - Turk Telekom 80-90

The game between Top Four teams took place in Selcuk. 3rd ranked host Selcuklu (21-9) lost to first ranked Turk Telekom (28-2) 90-80. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Ender Arslan (190-83) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Croatian swingman Fran Pilepic (193-89) with 13 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: Rhode Island) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom maintains first position with 28-2 record. Newly promoted Selcuklu keeps the third place with nine games lost. They share the position with Afyon. Turk Telekom are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bursaspor at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Selcuklu will play against TED Kolejliler in Ankara and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
