The game in Ljubljana supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Tajfun (1-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Ilirija (2-3). Ilirija smashed Tajfun 97-72. The game without a history. Ilirija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Serbian guard Aleksa Nikolic (200-95, college: Marshall) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winning side and international guard Luka Voncina (193-91, college: Charlotte) accounted for 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Five Ilirija players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Milos Pesic (205-84, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and international center Tomaz Bolcina (208-94, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Tajfun in the defeat. Ilirija moved-up to sixth place in Nova KBM. Tajfun at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Ilirija's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Krka in Novo Mesto and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tajfun will play on the road against KK Primorska (#3) in Koper and hope to win that game.
