An interesting game for Beroe (8-4) which played road game in Samokov against 4th ranked Rilski Sportist (1-11). Second ranked Beroe had an easy win 90-52. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Beroe forced 19 Rilski Sportist turnovers and outrebounded them 40-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. International Violina Kocheva (175-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. International center Gabriela Kostova (190-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Beroe players scored in double figures. Point guard Claudia Penkova (160-98) replied with 17 points and Hristiyana Nikolova (180-1) added 8 points in the effort for Rilski Sportist. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Beroe maintains second position with 8-4 record having just three points less than leader Haskovo 2012. Newly promoted Rilski Sportist keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost.
