Regular Season Round 24: Canik Belediye - OGM Orman 66-77

An interesting game for Ormanspor (8-14) which played road game in Samsun against one of their biggest challengers Canik Belediye (7-17). Third ranked Ormanspor managed to get a 11-point victory 77-66. Ormanspor players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Luca Ivankovic (201-87) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Jasmine Thomas (175-89, college: Duke) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Taylor Manuel (193-93, college: Mississippi) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ceren Gokdemir (177-92, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Despite that victory Ormanspor went down to tenth position due to points difference. Canik Belediye lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 17 games lost. Ormanspor's next round opponent will be higher ranked Abdullah Gul (#9) in Kayseri and it may be quite challenging game. Canik Belediye will play on the road against Mersin BSB and hope to win that game.
