Second Stage Round 4: Medvode - Konjice 90-89

A very close game took place in Medvode between Medvode and Konjice. Ninth ranked Medvode (7-3) got a very close home victory over 10th ranked Konjice (5-5). Medvode managed to escape with a 1-point win 90-89 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Konjice. Konjice was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 20-16 charge of Medvode, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Swingman Luka Snoj (200-90) fired 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Lovro Fizuleto (199-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Gasper Sevsek (198-93) produced 25 points and 9 rebounds and guard Urban Rat (182-95) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Medvode moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Triglav. Konjice at the other side keeps the tenth position with five games lost. Medvode will meet bottom-ranked Pingvini (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Konjice will play against Grosuplje and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
