Quarter-Finals Round 1: ZTE NKK - Miskolc 68-64

ZTE NKK held off Miskolc in the opener. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Miskolc won fourth quarter 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Austrian guard Sigi Koizar (173-95, college: Maine) stepped up and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and American center Nadia Parker (191-87, college: USC) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Parker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four ZTE NKK players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Ashleigh Fontenette (172-89, college: Texas) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and Latvian center Zenta Melnika (197-91) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds.
