Rather expected game when 9th ranked Timba Timosoara (7-18) was rolled over on the road by seventh ranked Craiova (15-11) 95-75. The game without a history. Craiova led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a very good performance for Estonian Martin Paasoja (191-93) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 assists. Croatian swingman Ivan Siriscevic (198-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Mario Lazar (201-94) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian point guard Filip Dumic (180-90) added 15 points in the effort for Timba Timosoara. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Craiova maintains seventh position in Nationala with 15-11 record. Newly promoted Timba Timosoara keeps the ninth place with 18 games lost. Craiova will play against Phoenix Galati (#8) on the road in the next round.
