Very expected game when 14th ranked Demir IBB (7-17) lost to eighth ranked Eskisehir Basket (12-12) in Edirne 72-76. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Eskisehir Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was point guard Billy Baron (187-90, college: Canisius) who scored 20 points and 7 assists. Forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively. Four Eskisehir Basket and five Demir IBB players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Eskisehir Basket maintains eighth position with 12-12 record. Demir IBB lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 17 games lost. Eskisehir Basket's next round opponent will be Trabzonspor (#11) on the road. Demir IBB will play against Darussafaka and hope to win that game.
