Regular Season Round 27: Crailsheim II - Stuttgart 76-63

There was an upset when higher ranked Stuttgart (14-11) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Crailsheim II (9-16) 76-63 on Saturday. Crailsheim II forced 22 Stuttgart turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Vincent Hoffmann (206-1) who scored 20 points. American forward Eric Ross (201-94, college: Shorter) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Four Crailsheim II players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Jose Tejada-Munoz (183-89) added 13 points respectively. Stuttgart's coach Torsten Boeringer rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Crailsheim II moved-up to eleventh place in South-West. Loser Stuttgart keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Crailsheim II will face Mainz (#12) at home in the next round. Stuttgart will play against Lich II (#13) and hope to win that game.
