Very important is a home loss of third ranked Oradea (19-9) against fourth ranked Steaua CSM (19-9) on Wednesday night. Host Oradea was defeated by Steaua CSM in Oradea 82-68. The guests were ahead by 8 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 27-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Steaua CSM made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Steaua CSM especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) stepped up and scored 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Lithuanian guard Marius Runkauskas (189-86, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 17 points. Four Steaua CSM players scored in double figures. Steaua CSM's coach Jukka Toijala allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Lithuanian forward Arturas Valeika (207-85, college: Weber St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Martin Zeno (196-85, college: Texas Tech) scored 16 points. Steaua CSM moved-up to third place in Nationala.
