Important game to mention about took place in Pasvalys. Sixth ranked P.Zvaigzdes (12-18) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Siauliai (12-18) 84-81 in the fight for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Siauliai. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. P.Zvaigzdes made 19-of-20 charity shots (95.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Canadian guard Jahenns Manigat (186-91, college: Creighton, agency: KMG Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. P.Zvaigzdes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Siauliai. P.Zvaigzdes will play against Juventus (#7) in Utena in the next round. Siauliai will play at home against Neptunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
