Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Giessen 46ers (14-15) were defeated at home by sixth ranked Telekom Baskets (18-10) 86-80 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard TJ DiLeo (190-90, college: Temple) who scored 18 points. American power forward Julian Gamble (208-89, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Telekom Baskets' coach Predrag Krunic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American center John Bryant (210-87, college: Santa Clara) produced 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard Jeril Taylor (193-94, college: S.Indiana) added 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Telekom Baskets moved-up to fifth place. Loser Giessen 46ers dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost.
