Quarter-Finals Round 4: MBA Moscow - Samara-SGEU 85-93

Samara-SGEU upset MBA in Moscow to advance into the semifinal stage. MBA Moscow was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international power forward Artem Yakovenko (205-88, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Aleksei Zozulin (198-83) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Samara-SGEU players scored in double figures. Samara-SGEU's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side point guard Andrey Sopin (186-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Pavel Afanasiev (201-96) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds.
