Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Eskisehir Basket (13-12) defeated on the road 11th ranked Trabzonspor (9-16) 86-73. They outrebounded Trabzonspor 50-33 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eskisehir Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. International guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) contributed with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Eskisehir Basket's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Burak Eslik (193-94, college: SIU Edwardsville) answered with 19 points and 4 assists and naturalized Finnish Ozan Odabasi (206-95) added 21 points and 4 steals in the effort for Trabzonspor. The victory was the third consecutive win for Eskisehir Basket. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Sakarya BSB. Trabzonspor at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Eskisehir Basket's next round opponent will be Yesilgiresun Bld (#14) in Giresun and are hoping to win another game. Trabzonspor will play on the road against Demir IBB in Buyukcekmece and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
