Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Stuttgart and 6th ranked TV Langen had identical 14-12 record. This time Stuttgart used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Langen 95-90 on Saturday night. Stuttgart made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Guard Cyrill Da-Silva (183-83) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists. American forward Nick Smith (203-95, college: Belmont) produced 45 points (!!!) and forward Ruben Spoden (202-89) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stuttgart maintains fifth position in South-West with 15-12 record. TV Langen lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Stuttgart will face league's second-placed Speyer at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TV Langen will play against Mainz (#12) and hope to win that game.
