Very expected game when 16th ranked Moscavide (2-24) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Vasco (11-14) 78-67. Vasco forced 22 Moscavide turnovers and outrebounded them 36-25 including 21 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by point guard Miguel Toreia (180-93) who scored that evening 25 points and 9 rebounds and forward Ricardo Alpuim (191-88) supported him with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Vasco's coach Manuel Romao used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Even 21 points by forward Acacio Freitas (-96) did not help to save the game for Moscavide. Forward Tiago Magalhaes (192-76) added 9 points and 8 rebounds. Vasco moved-up to eleventh place in Places 9-16. Moscavide lost fourteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 24 lost games. Vasco's next round opponent will be Estoril Basket (#12) at home.
