Very expected game in Bursa where 11th ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (9-16) was crushed by second ranked Tofas (20-5) 94-75. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a very good performance for American point guard Pierria Henry (193-93, college: Charlotte) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import power forward Raymar Morgan (203-88, college: Michigan St.) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Tofas players scored in double figures. American-Hungarian power forward Jarrod Jones (207-90, college: Ball St.) answered with 28 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman DJ Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Pinar Karsiyaka. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tofas. They maintain second place with 20-5 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Tofas' next round opponent will be league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pinar Karsiyaka will play at home against Usak Sportlif (#16) and hope to win that game.
