The game in Funchal was also quite interesting. 4th placed Vitoria SC (14-14) played at the court of fifth ranked CAB Madeira (14-13). CAB Madeira managed to secure a 5-point victory 94-89 on Sunday. CAB Madeira made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Khalen Cumberlander (190, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists. His fellow American import forward Frederick Gentry (201-77, college: McNeese St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. American Roderick Nealy (198-80, college: Houston Baptist) produced 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Nikola Tadic (206-88) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five CAB Madeira and four Vitoria SC players scored in double figures. Vitoria SC's coach Fernando Sa tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. CAB Madeira moved-up to fourth place in Places 1-6. Vitoria SC lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
