The game in Sakarya supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Anadolu Efes (18-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Sakarya BSB (13-12). Anadolu Efes smashed Sakarya BSB 100-74 on Sunday. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Toney Douglas (188-86, college: Florida St.) fired 24 points and 7 assists for the winners. Australian power forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: Washington St.) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian power forward Nikola Jankovic (207-94, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and American CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Five Anadolu Efes and four Sakarya BSB players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Anadolu Efes. They maintain third place with 18-7 record having four points less than leader Fenerbahce. Sakarya BSB lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Eskisehir Basket. Anadolu Efes' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Istanbul BBSK.
