Regular Season Round 30: Bremerhaven - Fraport SKY 69-81

Date: April 20, 2018
No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (17-14) beat on the road 16th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (6-23) 81-69 on Friday. American guard Quantez Robertson (188-84, college: Auburn, agency: Interperformances) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Canadian-British guard Philip Scrubb (191-92, college: Carleton) supported him with 19 points. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 13 points by American point guard Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) did not help to save the game for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. His fellow American import center Geoffrey Groselle (212-93, college: Creighton) added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to eighth place. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 23 games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will meet at home higher ranked Brose Baskets (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play against BBC Bayreuth (#4) and hope to secure a win.
