Very predictable result when sixth ranked Acibadem (21-12) smashed on the road 14th ranked Socar Petkim (11-22) 90-65 on Saturday. Acibadem looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Socar Petkim's players. American power forward DJ White (206-86, college: Indiana) stepped up and scored 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Four Acibadem players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bulgarian power forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Acibadem. They maintain sixth place with 21-12 record. Loser Socar Petkim keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. Acibadem will face bottom-ranked Samsun (#18) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Socar Petkim will play against Selcuklu (#4) and hope to win that game.
