Rather predictable result when first ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (25-6) edged on the road 3rd placed Gmunden Swans (21-10) 69-67 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 35-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for American guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 11 points and 7 assists and Lithuanian center Povilas Gaidys (208-91, college: Southeastern, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 14 points and 4 steals in the effort for Gmunden Swans. Four Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. Kapfenberg Bulls have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 25-6 record. Loser Gmunden Swans keep the third position with ten games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls will face league's second-placed Arkadia Lions in Traiskirchen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gmunden Swans will play on the road against Furstenfeld Panthers and hope to win that game.
