Twelfth-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (3-28) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Timba Timosoara (9-21) in Timisoara. Timba Timosoara managed to secure only nine-point victory 104-95. However their fans expected easier game. CS Dinamo Bucuresti was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 34-24 third quarter run of Timba Timosoara. They tied the game at the end of regular time. Then they were better in overtime eventually winning that period 16-7. Timba Timosoara dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to CS Dinamo Bucuresti's 44. Timba Timosoara players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by CS Dinamo Bucuresti helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Pavle Reljic (194-93) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 assists. Mario Lazar (201-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Timba Timosoara's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International Amedeo Casale (194-97) replied with 31 points and forward Cornel Cioacata (197-92) added 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for CS Dinamo Bucuresti. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Timba Timosoara maintains ninth position in Nationala with 9-21 record. CS Dinamo Bucuresti at the other side stay dead last with 28 lost games.
