The game in Stuttgart supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Speyer (26-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Stuttgart (15-13). Speyer smashed Stuttgart 107-85. Speyer shot 67.3 percent from the field. Speyer had a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Speyer especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Stuttgart was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jordan Rezendes (188, college: Mass.-Dartmouth) nailed 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Dominican-Spanish power forward Michel Acosta (201-92) accounted for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Speyer players scored in double figures. American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) came up with 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Christian Gundlach (191-82) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Stuttgart in the defeat. Stuttgart's coach Torsten Boeringer gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Speyer. They maintain second place with 26-2 record having just 4 victories less than leader Gotha II. Stuttgart at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost.
