Lugano Tigers fired past Boncourt to secure 1-0 lead in the series. Lugano Tigers outrebounded Boncourt 47-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Boncourt's players. American players dominated the game. Power forward James Padgett (203-91, college: Maryland) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Isaiah Williams (201-92, college: Iona) accounted for 19 points and 10 rebounds. Five Lugano Tigers players scored in double figures. Forward Auston Calhoun (201-90, college: Bowling Green) came up with 32 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Brandon Brown (180-91, college: Loyola Mary) added 26 points and 6 assists respectively for Boncourt in the defeat.
