No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tofas (21-5) beat 7th ranked Eskisehir Basket (14-13) in Bursa 73-69. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was swingman Sammy Mejia (198-83, college: De Paul) who scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Raymar Morgan (203-88, college: Michigan St.) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ukrainian center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American power forward Josh Duncan (203-86) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Eskisehir Basket's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tofas. They maintain second place with 21-5 record having just two points less than leader Fenerbahce. Newly promoted Eskisehir Basket keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. Tofas' next round opponent will be Demir IBB (#12) in Buyukcekmece and are hoping to win another game. Eskisehir Basket will play at home against Usak Sportlif (#16) and hope to win that game.
