The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked Arkadia Lions' (23-9) road loss to first ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (26-6) 55-73 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Kapfenberg Bulls. Arkadia Lions was better in fourth quarter 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Kapfenberg Bulls especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 6 rebounds and Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) who added 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. Kapfenberg Bulls' coach Michael Coffin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Florian Trmal (199-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 16 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Bosnian-Croatian power forward Jozo Brkic (211-86, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Kapfenberg Bulls have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-6 record. Loser Arkadia Lions keep the second place with nine games lost.
