BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (31-3) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Telekom Baskets (21-13) in Bonn 83-72. Bayern Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Telekom Baskets' 22. Bayern Muenchen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Serbian guard Stefan Jovic (198-90) scored 6 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American center Devin Booker (205-91, college: Clemson) chipped in 12 points during the contest. At the losing side naturalized Cuban swingman Yorman-Polas Bartolo (192-85) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Josh Mayo (181-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 18 points (made all of his seven free throws). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 31-3 record. Telekom Baskets at the other side dropped to the fourth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Bayreuth and EWE Baskets.
