Rather expected game in Koper where 5th ranked Rogaska (7-7) was defeated by second ranked KK Primorska (10-4) 75-70 on Thursday. Rogaska was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-20 charge of KK Primorska, which allowed them to win the game. KK Primorska outrebounded Rogaska 34-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Marijan Cakarun (204-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Mirko Mulalic (195-88) chipped in 15 points. Four KK Primorska players scored in double figures. KK Primorska's coach Jurica Golemac used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International forward Mitja Nikolic-Smrdelj (200-91, agency: Players Group) produced 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Miha Fon (193-84, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests.
