There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Ovarense (16-16) was rolled over at home by ninth ranked Lusitania (16-16) 97-78 on Sunday. American forward Timajh Parker-Rivera (202-94, college: Towson) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American-Jamaican guard Khalid Mutakabbir (193-91, college: Presbyterian) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Lusitania players scored in double figures. At the losing side Canadian-British forward Jermel Kennedy (201-89, college: Lander) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Joao Grosso (196-94) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Lusitania have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place in Places 7-12, which they share with defeated Ovarense.
